We have a selection of flats and houses to rent located throughout Leeds catering for professionals, families and DSS applicants who are eligible for the Local Housing Allowance - LHA.
LHA applicants will need a guarantor.
A guarantor is someone who agrees to back up a tenants rent payment and steps in to make payments if the tenant doesn't. It is the sole responsibility of the LHA tenant to ensure the rent is paid on time. If problems arise the tenant must make all efforts to resolve them as it is the tenant who is claiming the benefit. The guarantor condition is to ensure the property owner gets paid their due money without delay. Owners often have bank loans which they have to pay on time. The guarantor needs to be aged between 18 and 75, with a good credit history, IN A FULL TIME WELL-PAID JOB & FULLY AGREE THE COMMITMENT TO PAY IF REQUIRED.
